Collage with me as we swatch matte, gloss, and gel mediums.

Join me as I create ten mini collages to compare a range of matte, gloss, and gel mediums to use as an adhesive for collage, mixed media, and art journaling.

In this video I use a whole range of the same art supplies underneath and on top of these mediums for each collage, so we really can compare them exactly. And they really didn’t turn out all the same!

So come along and I will chat through the art supplies I use and my process as we go.

Order of Preference for Quality Performance

These products have been road tested in relation to how they perform for my style of mixed media, with lots of wet layers. They may have been prioritised differently if being road tested for other purposes, such as impasto work or glazing.

These are listed in order of my buying preference if initial outlay cost is not a factor, with 1 as most desirable and 10 as least desirable.
